7 I will declare the decree: the
Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my
Son; this day have I begotten thee.

516:27-29 Chapter 15: Genesis

Chapter 15: Genesis
Divine Science encompassing the universe and man;...

The Way

No blight, no broken wing, no moan,
Truth's fane can dim;
Eternal swells Christ's music-tone,
In heaven's hymn.

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

Cardinal point 2 - Column 4 - Extended

(Ideal man and woman)
To emphasize this momentous thought, it is repeated that God
made man in His own image, to reflect the divine Spirit.

517:8 Chapter 15: Genesis

The ideal man corresponds to creation, to intelligence, and to
Truth. The ideal woman corresponds to Life and to Love. In divine
Science, we have not as much authority for considering God
masculine, as we have for considering Him feminine, for Love
imparts the clearest idea of Deity.

515:21 Chapter 15: Genesis

(Elohistic plurality)
Man is the family name for all ideas, - the sons and daughters
of God. All that God imparts moves in accord with Him, reflecting
goodness and power.

525:4,12-16 Chapter 15: Genesis

(Creation reversed)
Man reflects God; mankind represents the Adamic race, and is a
human, not a divine, creation.
(Definitions of man)
The following translation is from the Icelandic:-

(No baneful creation)
And God said, Let us make man after our mind and our likeness;
and God shaped man after His mind; after God's mind shaped He him;
and He shaped them male and female.

519:14-16 Chapter 15: Genesis

(Infinity measureless)
Mortals can never know the infinite, until they throw off the
old man and reach the spiritual image and likeness.
